Research Interest: Samuel Right Brown, b. 26 Sept. 1775 traditionally thought to have been born in Swanzey, Cheshire County, NH USA and d. 17 Sept. 1817 near Cherry Valley, NY. I think his father is Wright Brown or perhaps Samuel Wright Brown, son of Timothy Brown and widow, Hannah ----- Wright, who was born perhaps in Stow, MA or Swanzey, NH, 1 July 1747 and died in Torrey, Yates County, NY 25 April 1837. Wright Brown, as he was known by, is buried in City Hill Cemetery, Dresden, Yates County, NY. Samuel Right Brown married Eunice Hannibal (Annable) in Saratoga, Saratoga County, NY 13 Feb. 1803. They had seven children: 1. Charles Volney Brown b. 1804 Stillwater, Saratoga County NY. 2. Achilles Victor Manuel b. 1806 Stillwater, NY 3. Erasmus Darwin b. 7 July 1808 Stillwater, NY 4. Robert Emmet b. 1810 5. Juliette Ette b. Abt. 1813/14 6. William Henry Harrison b. 2 Feb. 1815 Auburn, Cuyuga County, NY 7. Samuel Right, Jr. b. 17 Nov 1817 Cameron, Steuben County, NY I am anxious to find his mother and any siblings he may have had. I would also like to confirm that Wright Brown is indeed his father. Any help would be most appreciated. These two men are like mysteries to me. If I can connect Samuel Right Brown as the son of Wright Brown, I have the complete lineage going back to England in the 1400's. This line of Browns are also from Thomas Brown of Sudbury, Cambridge and Concord in the 1600's. This line also ties into the Mayflower (William White, Susanna Fuller and William Vassall. Once I can confirm the above relationships, I will be happy to submit a GEDCOM for the internet.
