Research Interest: Arthur Powell Brown was a U.S. Army Hospital Corpsman during the Spanish- American war who served in the Philippines for about 3-years from 1899 to about 1902 and left for the U.S. possibly about 10-15 years later. He was born in Chicago about 187 3 , and resided in Oswego, NY when he enlisted in the Hospital Corps, USA on March 22, 1899 at the age of 25 years, 8 mo.
