I am trying to determine when and where Eloi died. He is listed in the census of 1850, but I cannot find him or his wife, Angelique Julie Girouard, after that date. She died June 21, 1882 in Cameron Parish. Eloi was born about 1794 in St. Martinville, Lo
uisiana. He married her on May 3, 1814.
