Research Interest: Simon Speight Brinson son of Benjamin Brinson and Susannah Speight, b. Cir. 1805 m. 1 Laney Green - many children m. 2 Sarah Smith MCCoy Dissappears after 1870 Census. No Will, no estate records, no land records, where are his records That part o f Craven Co. became Pamlico Co. in 1872. Both counties searched to no avail. Nothing in court records on his estate. If he died without making a Will someone should have been appointed Administrator. He lived between Beard's Creek and Goose Creek - what happened to his land Where are the records
