Research Interest: I am unable to find Addie/Adelia Jane Briggs parents. She is my ggrandmother b. 18 Dec 1851 d. 17 May 1935. Some records give surname Biggs but recently found BRIGGS listed on her marriage record m. 7 Oct 1874 to Randolph Curtis. Problems in searching are caused by San Jose being in both Tazewell and Logan Counties. My mother says she changed family names in Family Bible to suit her not what they were originally.
