Joseph BRAY b. England 1840, immigrated according to 1900 Wright county, IA census 1869 na. First settled in Blackhawk county, IA, married Alice Marie BECKWITH 1872 Blackhawk county, IA. Lived Wright county. 11 children. Horace, William H, Clarence,
Charles, Grant, Joseph, Clara, Lena, Bess, Cora, Marie. Alice died Dec 8 1892, buried Dows, Mount Hope Cemetery, Joseph died Feb 8, 1906 Galt Ia, also buried Mount Hope along with William H and assume his wife Mattie. Believe her to have been a Bauge.
