Research Interest: Searching for the Parents of John Bracewell who Married Mary Starkie in Colne England in 1821. John died in 1846. Mary then traveled to America with her sons, Hartley, Henry, James, Starkie and John Jr. We are assuming John was born around 1800 and I am searching for census or burial records to confirm his birth date and find parent information. I have a hunch that Johns father may have been named Hartley. His Wedding record shows "in the presence of Hartley Bracewell" and John named his first son Hartl ey. Need to verify this info
