Research Interest: The lady was my great grandmother, married a Franklin Fastnaught and had eight children. Would like to find out who she was related to in the Bowie family of Md./Va./Washington D.C. Some of the family is buried at the Congressional Cemetery. I remem ber her well, she died when I was about six in 1956. It was always said that she was French and Cherokee, but I have no way of knowing. She was less than 5ft. and had black eyes and hair until her death at age 90 or so. If the name Easter or Mariah com es up in your Bowie line as a child, please let me know. Thank you.
