Samuel and his wife, Ruth Boyer are supposed to have had five
children. We have thus far been able to proveonly the exist
ence of one, Catherine, who died in 1750, andis buried at
Christ Church Cemetery. Ruth married again in 1758 to a
Jeremiah Baker in Philadelphia. She died in 1806,
and mentions no children in her will. Only one child was
probably living at the time--Peter, in Allegheny County, Pa.
