Research Interest: BOBO OR RAY Trying to prove JEANY BOBO had a daughter ANN E. BOBO RAY. It is proven that JEANEY BOBO married Mr. RAY but not that they had daughter ANN E. BOBO RAY.Jeaney is listed in her father Lewis Bobo's will as Jeaney Ray. Jeaney Bobo and Mr. Ray were said to have moved to Georgia with his brother JOSEPH RAY and Jeaney's sister NANCY BOBO. The JOHN RAY FAMILY John, wife Susannah Vance --they had 5 boys lived in Union Co. S.C. near the Bobo family it was said this was the RAY family that t he 2 BOBO girls married into. Joseph Nancy are found in Columbia Co. GA as owing a mill there and Jeaney and Mr. RAY were to have moved with them. Jeaney's daughter Ann was born 11 Feb 1802--we think in Columbia Co. GA. She married in 1825 is las ted as Mrs. ANN E, WASHINGTON her husband J.C.B. WASHINGTON living in Franklin MO where both of them taught school. They had 2 boys while in MO another boy in Miss. in 1835 then by 1839 she is in Washington Co. AR or Crawford Co AR where she marrie s AMBROSE HASRNASGE by 1839. They have one child, LORETTA HARNAGE she is my direct ancestor Ann marries for 3rd time to David Filne--listed in 1850 Washigton Co AR census as David I Ann Fine and thes Washington boys Loretta Harnage are lilving wi th thesm. She died 26 Feb 1873 is buried in Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati AR beside her 3rd husband David Fine
