Robert Boat is my maternal grandfather. His wife Margaret Barrett Boat died shortly after giving birth to my mother Margaret Boat. My mother was sent to Wisconsin she was born in Port Elizabeth, Nassau County, New York to be raised by a maternal aunt
. She never heard from her father Robert E. Boat or her brother Willard Boat, who was born in 1919. Last know where abouts of Robert and Willard were from a 1930 census in California. Robert Edward Boat was born 7-26-1883 in St. Louis, Missouri. He w
as married previously to Minnie May Evans Boat, also from Missouri, and had 2 children from that marriage - Robert Evans Boat, born 11-18-1909, and Marjorie Boat, born around 1911. Any information on any of the above mentioned individuals would be great
