Research Interest: This is my great, great grandfather. I would like to find out when he was born, if he had any brothers and sisters. His spouse's name was Julia Carlton. I know my great great grandfather was born in Ramsgate, England. Evidently my gggrandmother and my gggrandfather used to live next door to each other when they were young..in housing where the walls were connected. I gather thats how they met. There are some connections with Cornwall, not sure what(dealing in old hors es?).My great grandfather was also born in Ramsgate, his name was James Frederick Bligh born August 09 1882, died Oct 4 1934,Victoria, BC, Canada. His spouse's name was Harriet Jordan Dines born Ramsgate, March 01 1885 died in Victoria BC 1950's. My gran dfathers name was James Frederick Bligh born in Ramsgate, July 02 1909, died in April 1992, Victoria, BC, Canada. His spouse's name was Helen Mildred Mortimer born Feb 13 1912, died Sept 25 1983, Victoria, BC, Canada. My father's name was James Frederick Bligh, born June 01 1932 Killed in an accident, in 1957 in Stony Plains Alberta, Canada. His spouse's name Kathleen May Sauter (aka Huckerby aka Herberholtz). There were (supposedly) 8 generations of "James Frederick Bligh" my brother being the very last o ne (the 8th). My brother was born March 21, 1955, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. What I'm hoping to find, as well as my ancestors, is the answer to the mysterious question.."Why so many James Frederick Blighs" ..why did that matter? PS, I am currently working on my gedfile, and as soon as I get it to where it looks presentable, I will upload it. Thank you, Geraldine M Bligh-Shuck nee Bligh
