John moved from Mitchelstown to Lismore. He was a
National School Teacher. Married Katherine Lynch-Coughlan
in 1865. They had 8 children, John, Thomas, Anne, Walter,
Eugene, Catherine(?),Elizabeth, and unknown. Trying to find
info on Birmingham, Coughlan and Lynch families. By 1900
6 children were still alove and they and their parents had
arrived in the U.S. Also Sheehan and Sarsfield families
from the Cork area. All were friends in Ireland and inter-
married in the U.S.
