My mothers maiden name is Billbrough and we are researching all Bilbrough in Yorkshire have gone back to 1555 we come from Spofforth then move on to Tadcaster/castleford/Upper Poppleton/Leeds/Ryhther/Bradford/York and all the little surrounding towns. w
e have a Bilbrough Ingram married Mary Flint with children William and George who all in 1868 were sentenced to a term in jail Ingram to Devon for 5 years but we cant find out where George and William went we know George was married to Mary Ann Heaton b
ut cant find William on 1871/1881/1891 census. Please help the crime was recorded in the York Times dated Feb 29th 1868 and 14th March and 21st March but the lordship deferrred sentence Help Dona
