Robert Lorien Bennett is my grandfather. We know nothing for certain regarding his parents names. We think Ggrandmother was Addie Bennett who either never was married to Ggranddad or reclaimed her maiden name when Ggranddad allegedly committed suiside.
We know Robert was raised by a neighbor in the Gilead, Bethel, Albany Me area but don't even know their name. Robert was between 8 and 12 when reportedly he came home to find his father's body still hanging. Shortly there after Ggrandmother left him
with a neighboring farmer. Robert was born July 20, 1891
