Research Interest: Humphrey Beckett (Sr. ?) was sentenced at Newgate Prison, England in 1675 to "Transportation" and was supposedly sent to Barbados. His sons, John Beckett, Humphrey Beckett (Jr.?) as well as Robert Beckett show up in Prince Georges County, Maryland, USA in 1708. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
