Research Interest: Thomas Beadnell came to America as a very young man. The family knows little about him until he eventually settled in Muhlenberg, KY where on December 28, 1868, he married Sarah Elizabeth Hoskinson. They had a number of children and many of their decen dants still reside in Muhlenberg, KY. He died April 8, 1897 and is buried beside Sarah Elizabeth in the Mt. Moriah Church of Christ cemetery near Penrod, KY in Muhlenberg County, KY, USA. There are conflicting records about possible previous marriage s and there is a story told about him fighting for both the North and the South during the Civil War. If anyone has a clue about Thomas Beadnell before his appearance in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky circa 1868, it would be of interest to the family.
