Louis Bastien was born in small town just outside of Quebec City. He was one of perhaps 12 children and left the area. He eventually went to an area called Wolf Lake Quebec. He homesteaded there. He was married three times and had five children. He died
in 1917 in Ottawa and is buried in a cemetery in Hull Quebec. I do not know which one he is buried in.
