Research Interest: looking for information regarding indian decent. need tribal information if possible regarding ancestors. This is my grandmother's maiden name. Her mother's maiden name as well as three other generations of previous years. My grandma's name is Nellie Marie Barras-Wiltz, her father John Barras, born August 15,1891,and mother Nellie Marie Barras, born December 25,1891 were from St. Martinsville, Louisiana. He had a brother named Lionel Barras. She had a brother named Oscar Barras and sister Laura Bar ras. They were married March 4, year unknown. They parented 11 children. He passed July 2 she passed September 2 both in 1980. If you can help me acquire anything helpful to my search of information please write me. I as well as my children need al l the information possible to figure out our indian heritage.
