Research Interest: Pearllouise Barker married Nelson Smith Sr they got their marriage lic in Carthage mo in 1915 it says she was over twentyone she was only about 14, we are looking for her parents.she supposedly took care of Nelson's first wife until her death in dec of 1914,Her name was Lelia viola Davis, Pearls mother either died or abandoned the children and she was raised by a relative in missouri from about the age of 4-5.In the early 1920'snelson and Pearl moved to colorado eventually ending up in aspen Pitkin co Colorado where they are buried in the REd Butte cemetary.
