I am looking for information on the birth and antecedents and early life in the UK of my great great grandfather Otho Barber who was a butcher in London Hyem and Barber at 282 High Holborn in the 1830s/1840s. He and his family are recorded in the 1841 c
ensus as living at 282 High Holborn, but there is no similar entry in the 1851 census. Otho emigrated to New Zealand with his son James in 1859.
