Research Interest: Census 1851 Benjamin Balls b. 5 Apr 1823 lived at 142 Plaistow St. in Bromley, Kent, England, with his wife Mary Matilda Burrows b. 10 Jun 1825 and three children, Alfred b. Feb 1851 Selina c.29 Aug 1852 Agnes c.23 Jul 1854 were born to them at this ad dress, another son William b. 4 Dec 1847 was born 3 years before they married on the 5 May 1850 at Stepney, London, England. They emigrated to Canada in 1855 bringing 3 children as Alfred had died. They came to Ontario, were in various counties before en ding up in St. Marys, where I live, they are buried here.
