Research Interest: Searching for ancestry or relatives of my father, PETER BALLAUER. Some documentation indicate he was born 27 Dec 1899 in BUDAPEST, HUNGARY. Other documents indicated he came from AUSTRIA and was born circa 1890. The 1920 Federal Census shows he immigrate d to USA in 1907. He was a piano mover by trade until his injury in 1924. He married my mother, HELEN MARY ELLEN BURKE MULDOWNEY, formerly of Gortamarle, County Roscommon, IRELAND on 8 Apr 1931 in CHICAGO, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. PETER died in KANKAKEE, ILLINOIS on 6 Jan 1957. I barely knew this man. If you have any knowledge or are related, please contact me at my email address of sargejpb@yahoo.com or write Jerry Ballauer, 6 Barrister Drive, Columbia, SC 29223 USA
