Research Interest: My Great Great Grandfather came to the U.S. around 1948 or possibly earlier. He was married here in 1949. I am having a problem locating my great great grandmother. She married Frederich k but came here from Berwangen, bavaria, Germany. she was suppose to be born 12/1821 and the exact death was 6-29-1908. Her name is Babette or barbara, Marie since she used all of them Vittalowitz. I only have a death certificate since she died in the U.S. Where might I find a birth certif icate for her. Says on her citizenship papers that she was a subject of king of prussia not sure what that means. if anyone can help me in my search. I would much appriciate it.
