Research Interest: I am trying to find out information about my grandfathers and Grandmothers family. His wife was named Sarah Elizabeth Nicols Nichols . She was born Sept.13, 1860 and died June 26, 1956. My grandfather, P.A. Baker was orginally named Peter Alexander Baker. He went by the name of Pleas, Eleck or P.A. Baker. I am searching for his fathers family. His father __ __Baker and Sarah Elizabeth had other children Riley Jasper 2-10-1984, P.A. 1896 Tom, Ben, LIzzie, Rosey and Short Levi. When he die d Sarah Elizabet Baker remarried a man by the name of Moore. I believe that the Baker Family lived in or near Jasper Arkansas. ___Baker Sr. was a also called DOC BAKER. He was a doctor in in war and later became an Ordained Preacher in AR. I think ne ar Robetstown. Also looking for the cementary in which he was buried.
