Research Interest: Looking for ancestors & descendants of George Jacob Bahr. Born abt. 1842 in Germany. Came to USA at age 16. Worked on the canals near Ellenville, NY. In 1871 moved with wife Matilda Walters to Brooklyn then the Bronx, NY. He died in the Bronx in 1907 . They had 7 boys and six girls with documentation existing only for Henry Daniel "HD" and George Oscar (1875-1930).
