Research Interest: I am looking for the family of John and Margaret Bagwell, both born ca. 1804. Last known location in Pickens District, S.C. in 1850. After 1850, with the exception of James Adolphus and John W. Bagwell Sons of John , The family seems to drop o ff the earth. James and John W. lived next to each other in East Fork, Transylvania Co., NC in 1860. James died in 1864 in the Civil War. John W. lived next to Patsy Caroline Whitmire, widow of James, in Eastatoe TWP, NC at least until 1880. Also , JAMES ADOLPHUS
