Research Interest: I am researching my maiden name ARTS. My great-grandfather's name is John Arts. He married Caroline Hennekens on December 18, 1882 in Sturgeon Bay, Door County, Wisconsin. His father is listed as Peter Arts on the marriage certificate. His mother's name is unreadable. John and Caroline had five children Louie, Louise, Wilber my grandfather, George, and Rene. I am looking for any information about John or Peter ARTS. I am also looking for John's mother's name. Peter's wife.
