Research Interest: John was born in Ohio according to several censuses. He married Catherine Allison in 1839 daughter of Wm L. Allison She was b. 1829 in Indiana. d. 1880 in Morgan Co.,IN. They lived in Mason Co., KY. Had eight children in Kentucky and moved abt. 1851 to Monroe Co., IN. Had seven more children. One son Eldon was jailed for murder in Illinois d. 1919. My grandfather was James Marshall Anders a Pinkerton agent. D. 1854 in KC Kansas. His oldest brother was William Tecumseh Andrews a US Army retiree. Died and buried 1908 in Leavenworth Kansas WHERE and FROM WHOM did they come from.
