Research Interest: Henry Perry Anderson was born in Tennessee about 1815, married Mary Wood, daughter of Matthew Wood and Hannah Payne Wood in Union Parish Louisiana in 1841. H.P. and Mary had 4 children, James Matthew born 1842 , Eliza Alice born 1844, married Dani el Payne , Sarah born 1846 and William Henry born 1847 . Mary died in 1847. Before 1850, H.P. married Elizabeth Thomas and they had 5 children, Wesley 1849 , Mary 1853 , Mattie J. 1854 B.F. 1857 and John 1859. H.P. and Elizabeth died in Ne w Orleans in 1866, according to newspaper reports. William Henry Anderson married 3 times. 1st. Mary Pleasant s and had one son, Willie 1868 . 2nd. Mary Shaw and had one son, Wiley 1872 3rd . Clara Hampton daughter of William and Sarah Eliz a McClanahan Hampton. William Henry Anderson and Clara Hampton Anderson had 3 sons, Wade 1877 , Henry 1880 and Wesley 1882 . I am interested in contacting any decendants of any of these people.
