Research Interest: Amarintha White is the name of my great grandmother, and a mystery to me, since I have little more than her name. She was the wife of William White, about whom I know little, and had three daughters Josephine, Julia, and my grandmother, Laura. My gra ndmother had an older sister, Mary, but I don't know whether she was Amarintha's child. Laura also had a half-sister, Eliza, and perhaps 2 half-brothers, possibly from a prior marriage of William. I am interested in any information I can find about her and her family.
