Research Interest: Michele Benedetto Gaetano Amari is a somewhat famous Italian historian. I know his parents were Ferdinando Amari and Giulia Venturelli. Michel was born in Palermo July 17 1806 and died in Florence July 16 1889. He had two brothers Gabrielle b 3-19-1807 d 4-2-1858 and Emerico b 5-9-1810 d 9-20-1870. I want to know who the three brothers married and who their children were. I believe my GreatGreatGrandmother Rosalia Amari is their decendant. Rosalia Amari is from Palermo. She married a man named Guccia po ssible first name Ferdinando who was in someway associated with the Opera in Palermo. Their daughter my GreatGrandmother was Rosalia Guccia and she was born in approx 1877 in Palermo. She married Vincent Pocoroba in Palermo on May 24 1894. She came to th e USA in 1901 and she died in Corona Queens NY in 1953. If you can make a connection in the Amari family to my ancestor Rosalia Amari I will jump for joy. Thank you.
