Research Interest: James AGNEW, watch and clock maker of Saint John City,NB. Wife Eliza AGNEW REID . James was drowned at Eastport Maine in 1850. His son William Barrington AGNEW is my GGrandfather. He also had sons Moore French AGNEW, Seymour AGNEW and a daughter Harri et who married Hugh U EWING a merchant of the same city. The family came from Ireland as that is where Eliza and Letitia were born. They would have arived in Canada approx 1833.
