Research Interest: Charles Augustus Adcock was born somewhere in Tennessee on August 18, 1877. He had several older brothers and at least one sister, who lived in Birmingham, Al. area in the early 1900. Her name was Florence and she married a man with the last name of Gree n. Charles' mother was Cherokee. Charles married Janie Louise Veitch, from B'Ham, Al. whose father was Ellis and mother Louisa. They had four children, Joseph, Margret, Robert and Charles. In 1920 Charles and family moved from B'ham, Al. to Anniston, Al. and on the cenus it had his mother being born in Al. and his father in Tn. I have hit a wall trying to find anything on Charles' mother and father. I'm sending this out in hopes of finding Charles' family. I want to find my great-great grandparents.
