Oldest son of William David Adams. b. 1836 in Alabama, died in Grant Co., Arkansas buried in Lost Creek cemetery 30 July 1907. Civil war vet for confederacy. Mother was Melbra Ann Clark b. 1844 and married 22 Sept 1859 in Grant Co., Arkansas. Joseph was
born in Conway Co., Arkansas 1861 and married 30 July 1882 in Arkansas to Emma Brock b. abt 1863. Family rumor has it that Joseph was convicted and jailed in Little Rock, Arkansas for stealing a horse. The last time he was seen by his family was when he
was released. He asked his brothers to take him to the train so he could go to TEXAS to work in the oil fields. Never heard from since.
