Research Interest: I am looking for the ancestors of James A Acton. Born in early 1800's. Married Mary Crockett daughter of William Crockett and granddaughter of Anthony Crockett. Both probably died in in an epidemic in 1840's. Left two children in care of Anthony Croc kett, Mary's brother. Her father, William, was executor of the estate. They lived around the lower Benson Creek area outside of Bridgeport. At that time, many of the family were buried on the Julian Farm also in that area. I believe that in my resear ch, it mentioned that he was from Winchester, KY. No sources verify that. He was a farmer and horse trader. Anything would be appreciated. Nora
