Research Interest: Catherine Elizabeth Aanenson, Danish-Norwegian. Born 1864 married J. J. Rogers in East Texas. They lived in Van Zandt County then moved to the Quanah/Vernon, Texas Area. They owned a plot of land within the Waggoner Ranch early 1900's in Electra under t he title C. E. Rogers Estate. We were told that Catherine moved to Florida before the 1920's. She supposedly traded some of her land to Mr. Waggoner for a horse and buggy to travel to Florida. When she died J. J. Rogers went and brought her back to Texas . J. J. and Catherine were said to only have one child, Olga Viola born in 1885. J. J. Rogers was significantly older and may have had another wife before her. Also would like to know the names of J. J.
